Restaurant

With its unique 2-storey design, our restaurant offers a fantastic view over the twin falls of Tad Fane. Our menu consists of Lao, Thai and Western specialities. Vegetables and fish are bought fresh from the local market. High-quality products hard to get by in Laos, such as curries, good meat and cheese are brought in from Thailand. Choose from our selection of wines to go with your meal!

Don't forget to taste the famous Boloven Coffee (and take some home as souvenir)! The evenings can be spent enjoying cool evenings around the fireplace next to the bar, sipping cocktails, wine or beer while swapping stories with fellow travellers and the staff. Read our Guest Comments!

Our second floor seats a maximum of 40 persons, and is usually reserved for resort guests or individual travellers only. However, with advance notice, we are happy to host lunches and dinners for groups up to 70 persons.

ACCOMMODATION

Comfortable Accommodation!
Our resort has a total of 14 comfortable rooms in bungalow-style houses. Tad Fane has undergone extensive renovation in the first half of 2005. New roofs, ceilings, floor and furniture give the rooms a fresh and more spacious feel. The rooms all have a private bathroom with toilet and hot water shower. Go to sleep to the sound of chirping cicades and the distant thunder of the huge Tad Fane Falls. Wake up, refreshed, by the sound of singing birds!

Cool Temperatures!

Air-conditioning is not necessary, as throughout the year the temperatures at night do not exceed 20 Celsius. Between July and October frequent rain (but usually not all day long) brings the temperatures down even further, while in the cool season (November - January) we are providing extra blankets! We welcome families!

As a safe and fun destination, with hikes of all different levels, and swimming opportunities abound, Tad Fane Resort is a delight for families. Tad Fane has four very spacious family rooms, each with either three single beds, or one double and one single bed. We are happy to provide a roll-away bed for families of four in these rooms, or a baby cot. Even with four beds, these family rooms offer plenty of space.
